Now that you know why it’s so important to reduce your toxin exposure, it’s time to start replacing your skin care products. Want to ease into your non-toxic skincare journey with a few basics? Here’s what you’ll need to begin. I’ve compiled my tested and favorite non-toxic skin care products (from various brands) so you can start out with the best.
These are all my go-to basics!
Charcoal Cleansing Bar I love year round, but especially in the summer. It’s a deep cleanse, the bar lasts forever.
Cleansing Balm I use this in the winter and mix with other cleansers for extra moisture. I also use this as a balm on my elbows, hands, and face.
Rhonda Allison Pumpkin Cleanser A gentle and effective cleanser for acne prone skin. I can’t go a day without this one!
Rejuvenating Toner Pads I’m obsessed with this product and use them daily. I cut them in half for the best bang for my buck.
Rosewater I keep one in my car, purse, and next to my bed. I’m always hydrating with rose water and my skin eats it up.
Tropical Vanilla Day Cream SPF 30 This creamy moisturizing SPF goes on under my makeup daily. Easy and effective.
Atmosphere Protectant Cream I love the feeling of this cream on my skin, great for city living. No SPF so I use when the SPF 20 from my makeup is enough.
Active Botanical Serum It’s a pretty penny but worth the cost. Smells, feels, and breathes divine. This could be one of the best natural skin products out there.
Rejuvenating Night Cream I put this on every night regardless of the weather or season. I’ve noticed a difference in the texture and firmness of my skin.
NO. 3 Balancing Facial Mask This is my weekly go-to (and my husband’s) for baths, self-care, and to get a little extra shine out of my skin.
Alitura Facial Clay Mask The first mask I ever used and I can practically feel it pulling out toxins and dirt whenever I use it.
NO. 1 Brightening Facial Mask This mask makes my skin feel so soft! It’s known for it’s ability to increase brightness.
